CBHI Hq is assisted by its six Field Survey Units (FSUs) located at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Lucknow & Patna to liaison with State Government and Union Territory Administration for collection of data on Communicable & Non-communicable diseases besides conduct of short-term in-service training programs on Health Information System and use of International Statistical Classification Diseases. Each FSU is headed by a Dy. Director (ISS Cadre) along with supporting staff of SSS Cadre which functions under the supervision of Regional Director (HFW/GOI).
